Geez, every freakin' day it's raining in Houston, and it seems to have gotten even heavier over the last few days. All the while the SE and SW U.S. is waaaaay behind in rainfall, and a lot of it is on fire. Here we are in the middle, drowning.
Houston is now 7+" over our "average" rainfall, while Birmingham, Alabama, for instance, is behind by 14". After today we'll probably be 9" over. And our forecast calls for rain for at least the next seven days in a row. Lovely. It does keep it cooler, but, hey, enough already.
Too bad we haven't come up with any method of rain catchment to ship from one place to another.
