VIN look-up

If you go here, you can see if you car's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) has any type of recall for it outstanding.  You are supposed to get a letter when there is a recall of your vehicle, but those letters don't always get to you.

My new Lincoln MKZ Hybrid has no recall pending, but when I tried to input the VIN to our other car, a 2008 smart ForTwo, I got this message:

temporarily unavailable
