Starting on January 7, 2025, an ongoing series of multiple catastrophic wildfires has affected the Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding regions. The fires were exacerbated by very low humidity, dry conditions, and hurricane-force Santa Ana winds that in some places exceeded 80–100 miles per hour (130–160 km/h). As of January 9, the wildfires have resulted in seven fatalities, destroyed or damaged more than 9,300 structures, and forced nearly 180,000 people to evacuate, mostly due to the two largest fires: the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire.
I'm just a regular atheist guy who gets sick of all the bullshit and wonders where the time goes? Oh, and I really appreciate beauty, as in women, and nature.
