Benghazi

It's obvious to any person with a rudimentary brain that the Republicans are trying so hard to pin something ... anything ... on Obama or Hillary Clinton about the Benghazi episode.  It would be embarrassing, if they had any self-awareness.

The Republicans are becoming a parody of themselves; a veritable leech on the body politic; a boil on the butt of humanity; an oozing cancerous lesion that begs to be excised before it poisons the entire body.  They hate minorities; they hate women; they hate the poor; they hate gays; they idolize and coddle the wealthy; they are blatantly hypocritical "Christians."

One begins to wonder what purpose they serve?  They seem to relish being an impediment to progress.

I realize that I am not "helping" to advance reconciliation much by writing in this fashion, but fuck it.  I am sick of the selfish, intolerant, hateful, homophobic, sexist, bigoted bullshit that passes for political discourse on the right these days.   I never would have lasted long in politics.  I don't see how Obama does it, swallowing all that righteous indignation and hate he gets from the right and hardly batting an eye.

Kinda reminds me of Jackie Robinson and all the taunting and hate-filled garbage he faced as he became the first black man to play baseball in the major leagues.  He never gave in to the hate.

We've come a long way, but not really.

Oh yeah, Republicans are so concerned about a "cover-up" and the loss of life in Benghazi?  Yeah, sure.  Right.
