Far too many Americans still believe that giving tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires will spur economic growth. We have had it proven over and over again that the wealthy do not invest those extra monies in job growth; they stick it in the bank, they hoard the cash, while everyone else treads water. It's one of those zombie lies that never dies, sorta like God itself.
