Amaryllis +

So, how is it that the amaryllis seems to know to bloom by Easter?  Last year, I'm pretty sure it bloomed on Easter Sunday.  Ooooo!!!  

A few days ago the amaryllis in the front yard looked like this.  Getting close...

Yesterday, it exploded.

I have another one on the roof that is close to blooming.  I guess it's waiting for Easter Sunday.

Also in the front yard, THERE WILL BE SQUASH!!

And there will be tomatoes.  There already are tomatoes, but it's starting to look like a bumper crop year.

Things are much better this year.  Last year at this time, we were well into a drought but it would last another seven months.  This year, we're way ahead on rainfall.
