Marin Headlands

My nephew in Northern California likes to ride down - bail down - descend, at high speed, mountain roads.  On a bicycle.  And record it with his helmet cam.  And lay some music on it.

Ride on!  Watch out!

While the rush downhill would be dangerous enough, it's the push UP to the top of the hill that would probably kill me.

When we were last in Maui we almost took part in a much slower bike descent from high up on Haleakala, but you don't have to pedal to the top; they drive you up to the top of the volcano.   Sounded really cool, until I realized that you'd have to get up at 5am to start up the volcano.  5am?!  We're on vacation!  Maybe next time.

Do dolphins know they exist?
