As if we didn't know, intuitively, that the best medicine in the world is nature herself, here, under our noses, in the form of the hemp plant.
Powerful interests have kept this wild and easy-to-grow plant in jail, so to speak. Hemp is vilified to this day. Our own Founding Fathers themselves highly touted the plant, and thought everyone should grow it.
How many pharmaceutical firms might have to close down if hemp oil were circulated widely in the country? How many paper and pulp plants?
But how many new industries and innovative uses for hemp would spring up?
Question is: how long do we allow this travesty to continue? Hmmmmm.....................
