Vacation's over.  All things must end, including this look back at a few things in Telluride.

It's a short summer high up in the mountains, so flowers don't waste any time.

 

Here's a pretty typical house in summer in Telluride.  Everybody does it up high in the mountains.

 The sky could be impossibly blue.  

A lichen!  You can get mycopigments from these, like mushrooms.

Flowers were everywhere we went in Telluride.

Smuggler's Brewpub is a local favorite.  Some outdoor seating, lots of local beers.

Flires!

Get home.  Get back to work.  Crack that whip!

Such a pleasure to sleep in your own bed again.    

Gotta give Best Western some kudos.  They have some damn comfortable beds.  But that Best Western on the west side of Amarillo was a frikkin' zoo.
