I am Obamacare

Most of the western, "civilized" world has some form of comprehensive, nationalized healthcare, and their citizens are infinitely better off for it.

No worries about needed surgeries.  No worries about pre-existing conditions. No worries about prescription medicines.  

It's only because we in the U.S. have allowed campaign funding from virtually unlimited sources that our Congress is deeeep in the pockets of big business and therefore obstruct the U.S.' move to a similar healthcare model.

The health insurance companies in this country rake in BILLIONS in profits, all of it on the backs of American citizens.  That model has to go the way of the Model-T.  And even a modest move towards that, via Obamacare, is met with outrageous lies and disinformation from the GOP and their billionaire cronies (aka Koch brothers).  

You could say there is not much courage being displayed by our elected representatives.
