2013 elections

Houston's Mayor, Annise Parker, got re-elected for her final term as Mayor.  Smirking Republican black fat cat Ben Hall only got 27%.

The Astrodome referendum failed, so it is very likely that the ex-8th Wonder of the World will be demolished soon.  That's generally how we do things here in Houston.  It's old?  Tear it down.

The (9,000th) Constitutional amendment to the Texas Constitution, a water referendum, passed, so Texas will FINALLY try to do something to increase water supply across the state.  Lame-ass Republicans have been sitting on their asses, refusing to spend money on anything for so long, but some cities running out of water finally woke them up.

Colorado passed the 25% tax measure on recreational marijuana.  Can't wait to visit!  I wonder if that will put weed onto a sky-high price.  If it's cheaper to buy it on the black market, it ain't gonna work.  That would be funny:  the state competing with the black market for drugs.

Portland, Maine legalized recreational marijuana!!  I've never been to Maine.  Yet.

It was good to see Terry McAuliffe win the governorship in Virginia.  Maybe Cooch should not have based his campaign on anti-sodomy. I'll bet you good money Cooch likes to butt-fuck his wife, and probably like to take it up the ass himself.  He is so ashamed of it (and excited by it, and ashamed of the excitement) that he was compelled to rail against it.

Bill de Blasio won the race for New York City mayor handily.  It's quite refreshing to see an unabashed liberal take office.  It IS, after all, New York City, that bastion of immorality conservatives love to villify.  This guy could go on to greater things.

It was no surprise to see Chris Christie win his second term as NJ Governor.  The Dems didn't support Buono hardly at all.  If that fat bastard Christie thinks he has any chance at all for the Presidency, he's living in la-la-land.  He won't even survive the Republican primary, even though he is VERY conservative.  About the only reason people think he is moderate is because he allowed Obama to help New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
