My job had been in a relative downward spiral ever since my boss got a big promotion. I was hoping that there would be a calming down after the inevitable initial furious activity, but it wasn't happening that way. It was a sustained feeling of crisis and reaction, crisis and reaction, no time for introspection or catching your breath. I was getting run down.
I hope that feeling will not return when I do return to work. I'm too close to retirement to get super burned-out on the job. This is the time I should be slowing down, taking it easy, enjoying the fruits of all of those years of my labors, not jumping on a fast-moving train lurching left and right.
So, in that vein, let's take another look at hemp. I wonder if we will end up playing some role here, as we are comtemplating obtaining a summer home in Colorado, possibly Pueblo, a town that figures large in this story.
